Just to show not every stay is sunshine and lollipops, I offer up our current digs! In almost two years of traveling full-time, we have never “boondocked” in a parking lot. So, this is a new experience for sure. On the way to Williamsburg, VA, the fuel pump in our Dodge Ram 3500 diesel dually truck went kaput. Fortunately, we just happen to be in a large strip mall parking lot while catching a bite to eat at Wendy’s. We are surrounded by a liquor store on one side and a Roses, CVS, and McDonald’s on the other. The truck is now at Smily’s waiting for our fuel pump to hopefully get to the shop tomorrow and leave before nightfall. I’m not sure I can handle another 90 degrees in a hot RV. I do want to give a “shout out” (as the kids say?) to Roses for understanding our situation and letting us park in their lot!
